History
The company was originally founded in 2003 as a hosting provider under the name Nextgen Hosting Strässle. The hosting environment was fully built on open-source software and operated on a part-time basis.
In January 2012, the company expanded its focus to include software development, consulting, and technical solutions. This led to the formal establishment of Nextgen Computing GmbH.
Continuing its growth, the company achieved a significant milestone in March 2021 when its first data center became fully operational, enabling enhanced scalability and service offerings.
